Luis Venegas has more than 25 years' experience in the fields of architecture, civil engineering, and team facilitating. Prior to joining LZA, he was the Program Manager of the U.S. Navy's VE and Architect/Engineer Liability programs during construction of the TRIDENT Nuclear Submarine Base in Kings Bay, Georgia.
A graduate of the University of Miami, Luis Venegas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering.
Mr. Venegas is a Certified Value Specialist and a registered professional engineer whose experience includes leading VE studies, process simplification (PS) workshops, partnering sessions, and training workshops. Luis Venegas is trained in Choosing by Advantages© and the LEED™ Sustainable Design Checklist.
Luis Venegas is an ambassador and former Chairman and Director of the SAVE International Certification Board, the body which governs the Value Specialist certification process. He was recently inducted into the College of Fellows, serving the value profession through furthering the value methodology discipline.
