Howard Greenfield is a registered professional structural engineer and a Certified Value Specialist with over 35 years' experience in project management, structural engineering design, and value engineering.

Mr. Greenfield received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1969; and his Master of Business Administration degree at Long Island University in 1974.

Howard Greenfield's full-time involvement in value engineering started in 1982 and includes experience as a project manager, a value engineering team leader, and a training workshop instructor. He has organized and directed more than 600 VE/VA activities on projects throughout the U.S., Canada, Western Europe, and Taiwan. He has led studies on such diverse projects as steam generators; strategic, financial and marketing plans; chemical processing facilities; health care facilities; educational buildings; courthouse and correctional facilities; transportation and transit facilities; airports; water and wastewater treatment facilities; and military bases and defense facilities.
